In 1902 when Crown Roofing opened, we were building roofs with the organic materials available – wood, quarried materials and slate. From 1948 to 1988, Albert Facer better known as “Bert” ran the company till nephew Dennis Facer took the reins.

In the 1970s and early 80s, new systems were just starting to be developed and things like appearance, architectural considerations and performance were changing the look, shape and function of roofs.

When Greg Mason – a journeyman roofer – joined us in 1988 he was responsible for transforming our roof repair company into the modern full service roofing company you find today.
